Paradise Vape Review

This will be my last post until I come back from my hiatus, 6/3. I'd like to take some time to go over the sample kit Paradise Vape sent me. I'll be testing a new juice review format, hoping to breath a bit more life into the overall presentation. I absolutely loved how well packaged my order came, and the nice ping pong ball and bottle opener included. Do head on down and try a slice of paradise, guys!

Rip Tide
50/50
0 MG
Bottle: Very aesthetic, the logo design is very intriguing. Plastic, child lock cap. Warning information provided.
Throat Hit: Negligible, as the provided sample is 0 mg, unfortunately.
Aroma: Very fruity
Inhale: A decidely sweet apple, very organic
Exhale: Subtle notes of raspberry and blueberry
How it was vaped: 0.8 ohm dual coil dripper
Overall: Very, very pleased with this juice. It is very mellow apple and berry mixture, very sweet, and very refreshing. I recommend this to anybody who is looking to break up their fruit rotation with something different, as it has a cool tropical taste I could not get enough of. I'd like to see it with more of a throat hit, as it is quite delicious. 4/5

Crazy Bears
50/50
0 MG
Bottle: Very aesthetic, the logo design is very intriguing. Plastic, child lock cap. Warning information provided.
Throat Hit: Negligible, as the provided sample is 0 mg, unfortunately.
Aroma: A mix of raspberry, blueberry and grape.
Inhale: Subtle sweetness, but not much else. Could be due to the 0 MG nicotine.
Exhale: An intriguing blend of raspberry and blueberry, with a bit of grape on the back end.
How it was vaped: 0.8 ohm dual coil dripper
Overall: The inhale left a bit to be desired, but I did enjoy the exhale. Overall, I feel this juice suffered greatly due to containing no nicotine. I'll give it a solid 3/5, however that may change once I get the chance to sample in 12 mg.

Pineapple Express
50/50
0 MG
Bottle: Very aesthetic, the logo design is very intriguing. Plastic, child lock cap. Warning information provided.
Throat Hit: Negligible, as the provided sample is 0 mg, unfortunately.
Aroma: Smelllllllllll it. I want to have this scent up my nose all day (this reference cannot go unmentioned!) A rich blend of banana and pineapple, with a bit of cream.
Inhale: Very, very rich in pineapple flavor, sweet but not artificial.
Exhale: A welcomed blend of cream and banana, with banana being dominant on the back end.
How it was vaped: 0.8 ohm dual coil dripper
Overall: This juice is identical to a pina colada, and that is NOT a bad thing. I have not found a banana juice I liked, but this hit the mark! 5/5!

Sunset
50/50
0 MG
Bottle: Very aesthetic, the logo design is very intriguing. Plastic, child lock cap. Warning information provided.
Throat Hit: Negligible, as the provided sample is 0 mg, unfortunately.
Aroma: A complex citrus aroma with very subtle pineapple tones
Inhale: Heavy citrus, a bit on the artificial side. I anticipated something sweet, but overall it was a dull affair.
Exhale: A weakened pineapple taste follows the slightly artificial orange exhale
How it was vaped: 0.8 ohm dual coil dripper
Overall: I feel like this combination (orange/pineapple) sounded better in hindsight. Overall the flavors did not blend well together, at least in my opinion. They opposed each other, almost like repelling magnets, leaving me wondering exactly what I was tasting. 2/5

Strawberry
50/50
0 MG
Bottle: Very aesthetic, the logo design is very intriguing. Plastic, child lock cap. Warning information provided.
Throat Hit: Negligible, as the provided sample is 0 mg, unfortunately.
Aroma: A creamy strawberry milkshake
Inhale: Very creamy, retaining a fruit taste, not your typical dense cream taste.
Exhale: Powerful strawberry flavor infused with cream
How it was vaped: 0.8 ohm dual coil dripper
Overall: ADV! Seriously, this flavor is absoutely stellar, the best strawberry and cream/strawberry milkshake flavor I've ever had, and I've tried a lot. The cream and strawberry compliment each other perfectly with each flavor having a change to shine through in the profile. It is sweet, but not decadent, creamy but not heavy and buttery. I absolutely LOVE this juice! 5/5

Good eJuice Review

Have I had a busy week or what! Thank you Good eJuice for sending me out a wonderful sample pack, I had a great time thoroughly putting your product through the ropes. Good eJuice offer a wide variety of lab certified e juice as well as tanks, starter kits, and mods. With reasonable pricing, fast shipping and splendid juice, I implore all of my readers to give pop on over and check them out! I would also like to personally thank them for providing me with a Kanger Unitank, a genuinely nice touch, as well as a lovely surprise. Let's get on to the review!

12 MG
Impression : Well, initially I asked myself, "what IS this?" The extremely dark color and name threw me off a great deal, but the aroma was captivating! The powerful infusion of strawberry and grape was enough to entice me, so I had to load this in my faithful dripper first! The overall complexity of this juice is a true sentiment to their mixing abilities, as I was correct in my initial assumption, strawberry and grape! The inhale is very, very fruity, retaining an organic flavor profile without coming off as overbearing and official. The inhale is all grape, a ripened grape at that, as the taste wasn't sweet, but natural. The exhale is a blast of ripe strawberry (a juice I am a fan of) that left me hoping all strawberry juice had a similar taste. I like the fact that the ripened taste was captured, as the juice tastes very similar to the actual fruit, not the synthesized sweetness you would find in strawberry flavored candy, or grape soda. I presume I will clear this bottle in no time. 5/5!

12 MG
Impression : I was eager to try this as well, being a huge strawberry fan. The aroma out of the package was that of a smoothie, so naturally I figured the juice would be a hit. Unfortunately, it fell short. I pondered the intricacy of the formula, believing it to be a great test of mixing and flavor composition. I had hoped for a thorough flavor profile, robust if you will, but sadly the banana aspect was incredibly strong. The inhale had slight notes of strawberry, as well as cream, but no banana. The exhale however, was pure banana. While the banana flavoring was organic and not in the least bit artificial, it was a tad too much. I would love to try this juice again, with a bit more emphasis on the strawberry and cream element. It's not bad, but it doesn't live up to it's name. 3/5

12 MG
Impression: If you're an avid Vapocalyptic fan, you would know that I do not care for tobacco flavoring. It is rare that I will call it bad, but taste is subjective and I prefer to stay away from tobacco. I did give this a run through, however, and I am impressed by the nature of the juice. The other day, I found myself holding a cigarette. I knew I didn't want it, I knew damn well I would never light it, I was simply pondering how it governed my life for so long. As I laughed at the old idea of smoking, I decided to smell the cigarette, for nostalgia sake. To tell you the truth, tobacco smells good... and so does this juice! The aroma was robust, earthy and warm, very similar to the rolling tobacco I used to smoke. I believe it is a Perique offering, as it does smell like home grown Louisiana tobacco. The inhale is decidedly robust, full of flavor, but not overpowering. The exhale tasted so similar to a cigarette, that I actually might just say it is all around the best tobacco juice I've had. The tobacco leaf extract really shines through in it's flavor profile, and I wholeheartedly believe that those who are a fan of tobacco juices will love this. I give it a solid 4/5.

12 MG
Impression : Thanks, but no thanks. Originating from the alcoholic beverage, I had hoped to experience a fruity offering, but instead I was greeted with a very chemical affair. The overall aroma is intriguing, I get hints of coconut, cherry, and melon. The initial inhale was just that, a very strong coconut, but the exhale was very, very chemical in nature. Not only that, but it has the distinctive taste of alcohol, rubbing if I had to say. I do not know if alcohol is an ingredient in the juice (a common ingredient, and no it is not to get you drunk) but it is definitely a dominating flavor. Perhaps if they lost the beach and just kept the sex, I could enjoy another fruity juice. I wouldn't recommend this, personally, unless you enjoy the taste of alochol. 1/5, sorry!

Overall, I enjoyed the line of juice provided, and loved working alongside Good eJuice. They were prompt, sent generous samples, included a nice tank, all while providing very fast shipping over the memorial day weekend. I look forward to trying more of their product, and I implore all my readers to get on down to Good eJuice, cause their juice is GOOD!

JuiceEJuice Review

Over the week I have had the pleasure of sampling three of the finest liquids Juicy eJuice has to offer. They're a growing outfit, offering a wide variety of e-juice and hardware. Their premium liquid boasts a quality mix, containing only the finest flavorings from trusted North American suppliers. It was a pleasure testing their product and I urge my readers to head on over and get juicy!

Ragin Raspberry
12 MG
Impression: I was not a fan of this juice. I feel that the concept is sound, however the flavor profile is just shy of what it is trying to accomplish. I anticipated a sweet, ripened raspberry taste, and was left with a very bland fruit flavor. With the multitude of fruity e-juice on the market, it was no surprise that this one overshot it's potential and missed the mark. If they were to experiment with a different flavor, or perhaps increase the volume per ML, than this juice would be in close proximity to it's derivative. The inhale was a bit on the berry side, with subtle notes of raspberry. I expected the vape to come full circle on the exhale, but was once again stuck with that subtle berry flavor. While it isn't bad, it just isn't the best raspberry it could be. 2/5, however I would warmly welcome a mix overhaul.

 Sweet Tarts Candy
12 MG
Impression:  As I type this, I am literally salivating. This has to be the finest e-liquid I have ever tried. I do not say this lightly; I believe we're all in search of our true all day vape. I have found it, and the irony surrounding it is that I am not a big candy fan, but this was just an absolute home run. The aroma is identical to the candy, almost nostalgic in a way that it took me back to my childhood. I remembered begging my parents for money, so that I may spend it on the ice cream truck. I loaded my RDA and was shocked. This juice is totally and completely true to form, a mirror of it's inspiration. The inhale is delightfully sweet and organic, I anticipated a chemical aftertaste but was surprised at how similar is to the candy. The exhale is equally sweet, rounding out the full flavor, as if you just popped a few sweet tarts in your mouth. I am justifiably giddy when I think about stocking up on this juice. The fact that it manages to capture the pure essence of the candy while maintaining an organic flavor profile is wonderful, and I will definitely need a steady supply of this. 5/5! ADV!

Smooth Black Cherry Tobacco
12 MG
Impression : Immediately upon seeing the word "Tobacco" I lost all hope for this juice. While I would never rate a tobacco flavor poorly simply because I am not a fan, I have never had the chance to appreciate a tobacco juice. I believe this is because I wanted to get away from cigarette emulation 100%, and started with decadent dessert flavors and tantalizingly sweet fruity juice.

Well, thanks for breaking the mold, Juicy eJuice. I had to try it, and though my skepticism was running on every cylinder, I am happy to report that I was pleasantly surprised. The overall aroma is cherry, with a very, very subtle tobacco scent. So subtle, in fact, that I would be at a loss trying to describe the origin of. The initial inhale was very mellow, tasting almost entirely like a black currant cherry. The exhale also had a similarly mellow cherry taste, with a slight hint of tobacco on the back end. The overall composition of the juice melded well together, as the dark and mellow cherry sweetness complimented the subtle tobacco tones. I believe I am a fan of this juice largely in part to the layering and combination, as the cherry is the yin to the tobaccos yang. I definitely enjoy this juice, and plan on revisiting it. 4/5

Overall, I was impressed with the line of juice provided to me, and I am always ecstatic to find another reliable supply of juice. I will be placing an order with Juicy in the future and look forward to sampling the majority of their line.

Magma by Infinite RDA

The good guys at 101vape sent me out a very lovely RDA, and I have to say I am impressed. The Magma by Infinite is an exceptionally well made clone, a definitive top of the line performer. Head on over to 101vape, they're in stock now but by all accounts they should be going quick!

The specifications
304 grade surgical stainless steel
22mm diameter
dual direct to coil airflow
Air flow control (1mm, 2mm, 3mm)
no o-rings
dome chamber design
deep juice well (holds up to 40ml of juice, roughly 2ml)
two poles welded to the base for durability

So let's get on to what I like!

  • Packaging
Not much to say here; but I do like divulging. The magma comes securely packaged in a nice box sporting the Infinite logo. Inside, you will find two pre-wrapped coils, two screws, a miniature screwdriver, and the magma itself. Keep in mind, this is an advanced device, so those who are new to the rebuild-able atomizer world will have to do their diligent research as no manual is provided.

  • Build quality
Now this is where the tank truly excels. First and foremost, it is a clone. The authentic version will run you upwards 110.00. I have had a chance to see an original, and I can attest to the fine tuned workmanship that went into the device. The clone is no differentThe threading is butter smooth; sure to propitiate the proprietors of the original. A very precise amount of detail was put into the machining, the domed top cap being a testament. When you consider the amount of work required in supplying such a clearance in a block of stainless steel, you can't help but appreciate the effort put forth. I'd like to note that the domed cap will accept a variety of  510 drip tips, the majority of which seat securely.

Another facet I simply adore is the juice well. It is quite deep, and the manufacturer specifications list it as holding roughly 2ml of juice, or around 40 drops. For a dripper, well topped off it leaks very, very little. Those who have experience dripping will know that certain designs can leak like a sieve. Thankfully, this isn't the case. Now even with the best of wicking material and coil build, it is quite possibly a minimal leak will happen. Exercise caution when threading your wick material within the juice well, and keep a close eye when you fill. The leaks I have experienced have been quite minimal and hardly worth noting.

This air flow control ring is removable and also manufactured quite well. It slides freely in either direction, locks into place when the dome is seated, and offers a range of air flow control. I'll touch more on this later, but I do like how it doesn't stick, and it the fact that it hasn't cross threaded on me (nor shows no sign of.) I also like the fact that the holes have been drilled nicely, which will eliminate the need to re drill to a better liking.

The posts are welded to the deck and not only does this offer better conductivity, it offers a bit more reliability when working with the small enclosure that is afforded. From what I can tell, the welding was done well and it shows no signs of slack, nor does it giveaway when twisting and pulling your coils in and out.

Overall, this is a very, very well made clone. With 1:1 configurations, it is typical some facet of the design can and usually will fall through, one way or another. I've built a variety of coil configurations, tweaked the airflow control diligently, tested the threading and tried it on a variety of devices. In a side by side comparison, it would be hard differentiating. Staying away from clone ethics, this is quite a sight to behold.

  • Appearance
Another brief section, but this is a very sleek atomizer. The stainless steel construction paired with the MAGMA and PARADIGM logo compliment a stainless steel mod wonderfully. It is as if this RDA was built for the Tree of Life, as you can tell in the attached picture. Gorgeous.

  • FunctionalityNow we get down to brass tacks of the review. Any RDA can evince with style; captivate with ease. A well made product can suffer a multitude of faults that compromise it's commendable structural integrity. I'm happy to say that this RDA functions as well as it looks, if not better.

First thing I would like to talk about is the air flow ring. The airflow ring is free spinning, however it has to be locked into place. When the top cap is removed and the air flow control ring has been inserted, the top cap must be screwed down to lock it into place. When this is complete, the ring will not budge. Now in order to alternate between diameters, you have to lightly unscrew the top cap, backing off just a touch. I've had trouble coming to terms with airflow control rings that can spin freely in my pocket; this is not an issue here. The airflow control ring offers 1, 2, and 3mm diameter  configurations. I settle on three, because I prefer an airy draw. However 1 and 2 are also quite comfortable to use, as I find that 2 maximizes the flavor profile, and 1 replicates a very tight draw. The airflow ring also allows you to set it up in either a dual coil or single coil configuration.

The next thing I'd like to speak about is the juice resevoir. As I previously mentioned, it is generous in size, more-so than your traditional RDA. The surrounding walls do provide a tight enclosure, so caution must be made when filling as to not to overfill or waste any juice.  It is in my experience that a variety of wicks sit comfortably within the well (something a lot of people prefer not to do) and I have yet to experience any gurgling, of any kind. Alongside the outer ridge of the well, you will notice two holes, your airflow intake. The overall design is very intuitive, as every coil configuration you make should sit directly above these holes. This maximizes airflow, sufficiently allowing air to pass through the coil as intended.

Now with the magma, you can only work with two posts, so this might be off putting to those who are fond of intricate coil designs. I myself run it dual coil most of the time and have had no trouble installing a .5 ohm dual coil, using 30g kanthal and cotton. I like that the posts are secure and a good distance above the air flow holes. Due to it's nature, the welding provides an additional layer of stability as well as security when working on the deck. The aforementioned screws fit snug and secure, however they are incredibly small so keep on a close eye on them when you're working on a new build.

The domed top cap provides a vape I have yet to experience; as it fills with smoke it puts out a distinctively unique draw. It is hard to explain, but instead of your typical "sucking" it is as if you can tell that the air is spinning around. I found it difficult going back to standard atomizers, due to this unique offering.

Due to the posts being welded, attaching coil configurations is a breeze. I have hard trouble in the past with various devices, yet I am able to recoil this within seconds. It is nice knowing that if I am in a pinch and have the tools handy I can bust out a nice coil without sinking too much time or effort into the affair.

This RDA is 22mm in diameter so it is a flush fit on a majority of mechs.

  •  Performance
This RDA affords me a luxury I did not think possible. Without a doubt it is as close to providing a "perfect" vape, both in it's function and performance. My standard build is a .5 ohm 30g kanthal dual coil configuration. After I installed my coil of choice, set the airflow to 3mm, threaded the top cap and installed I was blown away. The flavor production is IMPECCABLE. So much so that I was tempted to rewick it and try out every juice I own! I was even inclined to drip juice I do not like, just to see if I could get a better profile. With coils that sit above the airflow holes, as well as a domed top cap, it provides a performance you will be hard pressed finding elsewhere. The way the vapor converges in the dome leads to entirely different experience; I truly believe today was the first day I have ever TASTED MY JUICE! It is worth noting that I retain the same reception running a single coil configuration, so to all those out there who prefer that, have a go! It is truly second to none, I say this as a variety of tanks sit on my desk. Sit in shame, I say! You can keep your kayfuns, your patriots, your nautilus, your aerotanks, just leave me my MAGMA.

Alongside the wondrous flavor, I was also anticipating quite a plume of vapor. This should be expected at the sub ohm level, and this RDA delivered. A three second draw was almost debilitating, I would not recommend taking a direct lung hit. As my lips broke away and my eyes focused to the cloud before me, I was giddy with glee.

Now to those out that who do not subo hm, I was also able to achieve noteworthy performance using a 1.5ohm dual coil, as well as 1.5 ohm single micro coil. Though the vapor production is decidedly less, the flavor production does not falter whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this dripper to those who shy away from coiling building, as I'll admit I saw very little point when deviating from the sub ohm realm. Thankfully the magma corrected my poor perception, and I believe it will entice others with it's wide range of capability.

Now, I will get on to what I do not like

  •  510 connection length
The 510 post is incredibly long, and unfortunately can give trouble in mechanical mod pairing. I personally do not own a mod that has a problem with it, however I do know that the caravela requires quite a bit of adjustment, and that the nemesis suffers from a very slight gap. I presume this will be an issue with those who have an extensive assortment of mods, so it is best pairing it with something befitting.
  • Dome cap juice pools
When you use a wick that is within close proximity to the domed cap, juice can condensate within it's walls. I find that this can also happen if you lay your RDA on it's side, or constantly change it's positioning. When this happens, the juice has a tendency to funnel down into the decks air flow openings and leaking outside the airflow control ring. It can also leak when removed, dripping all over the ring and down the side of your device.
Overall, I am impressed overall. The Magma Paradigm, cloned by Infinite, boasts superior craftsmanship, innovative design, and delivers divine flavor production and sizable clouds of vapor. I am in the process of phasing out numerous tank systems, anticipating another Magma purchase or two. I would like to thank 101vape for giving me the opportunity to review the device, and as well as the creators of the Magma. It was a pleasure working alongside 101vape and I will continue to throw copious amounts of money at them.

Hope everybody is having a wonderful memorial day weekend! I am, because I've had the chance to sample four decadent juices courtesy of High Brow Vapor. They prove to be true connoisseurs in dessert mixes, offering tantalizing sweet and dangerously delicious e-liquid. Grab your PV and get ready for another juice review!

HighBrow Vapor offers a wide selection of e-juice, priced at just 7.50/10ml, or 15.00/30ml. Users are encouraged to "customize" their juice, playing with different flavors, increasing or decreasing the sweetness, and of course a multitude of PG/VG ratios. They offer 100% kosher food grade PG/VG, 99.99% medical grade nicotine, and 100% all natural flavors. Visit today!

Peach
70/30 PG/VG
12 MG
Impression : Straight out of the envelope, the aroma is that of crisp, wholesome peach that has just been plucked straight from a tree. Much to my surprise, it is a very natural scent, absent of anything artificial or chemical. I decided I was going to drip each and every one of these flavors, and wow! The inhale was able to retain everything you'd expect out of a peach. The sweetness, the taste of it's texture, everything. The exhale is fruity and sweet without being too much, a fate a lot of peach juices I have tried suffer. It's a welcomed change of pace; I truly enjoyed this juice, it is as if the formula has been perfected.  If you're looking for a sweet yet tangy, ripe and yet not artificial peach vape, you will find it here. 5/5!

Creme Brûlée
70/30 PG/VG
12 MG
Impression : I have never ate Creme Brûlée, however I will be scourging the web for a recipe as delectable as this! The aroma is captivating; vanilla bean, a hint of custard, and very light caramel to round it together. Once again a very natural scent permeates, a testament to their touted organic qualities. The inhale is smooth and rich in vanilla, followed by a very light and creamy exhale with subtle caramel and custard tones. As decadent as it is, it isn't overpowering or heavy on the sweet. It retains it's delicacy and stature as something you can vape on throughout the day, or mix with your favorite juice. I would like to try it with a light cinnamon twist, and just might do so in the future. 4/5

 Cheesecake Torte
 70/30 PG/VG
 12 MG
Impression : Often imitated, never replicated. Cheesecake is a staple desert, a  favorite throughout the entire world. I have searched high and low for the perfect
cheesecake flavor, and I have found it. It is very rare that I use the word perfect,  but I am simply at a loss! This juice is DIVINE. Definitive, even. The standard!  The aroma is exquisite, suffused with cream cheese and crust. The inhale is  sublime, boasting a full and rounded creamy taste. The exhale is layered with  cream, vanilla, and crust, synchronizing delicately and retaining each and every  facet of their respective layer. It's as if every vape is a bite of the real thing. A total home run, an ADV, and a new staple in my rotation. 5/5! ADV!

Dark Chocolate Mint
70/30 PG/VG
12 MG
Impression : True to it's nature, it's a no fuss dark chocolate mint. The aroma is true to it's origins, retaining a very heavy dark chocolate scent subtly infused with mint. The initial inhale is compelling in flavor, a natural dark chocolate taste. It isn't until the exhale that the flavors been to infuse and you're left asking for more. A minty exhale follows the dark chocolate inhale, culminating in a true-to-form rendition. The best part about this juice is it's ability to replicate a true chocolate taste. I notate semi-sweet flavoring, as it isn't entirely sweet and in your face. I am not a big fan of the mint, but I do respect that it is true to it's inspiration. 4/5

It was an absolute pleasure dealing with highbrowvapor and I look forward to trying out more of their product.

TheVaporBar Juice Review

Hey folks! Alongside the stellar tank I received from thevaporbar, I was also lucky enough to sample five of their juices. To be honest, the 16.95/30 ml price point did concern me. In this industry, you've got a lot of options, and often a higher price commands a higher quality product. However after a nice talk with Schell, she did put it into perspective for me. As a company, they want to ensure that their customers receive only medical grade PG, USDA approved VG, medical grade nicotine, and the best flavorings. They do not cut corners; they mix these juices and run them through a stringent lab, of which  is AEMSA (american eliquid manufacturing standards association) certified. Unfortunately, this doesn't always equate to a stellar vape, despite the level of dedication.

By no means does this juice turn me off. In fact, I found three of the five bottles quite lovely. What concerns me is the pricing. 16.95 is quite steep, considering the total volume is only 30ml. This isn't to say that the juice isn't WORTH the price, but it can be a severe let down if you do not like the juice. Let's say you decide to play a little "juice roulette." Normally, you're a fan of fruity flavors. One day, you feel the need to give a bakery treat a spin. You eagerly await your package, tear it open upon arrival, and fill your tank of choice.

You're let down. You aren't a fan. This is the potential disappointment customers face when paying such a price. When it comes down to it, I would suggest sticking to what you know. If you aren't sure you will absolutely like the juice, more so the thought of it, pass. If they could in the future provide customers with the option to select a smaller volume, I believe they could experience a surge in e-liquid sales. I say this because, I do not like committing to something until I have tried it. Unfortunately, I am a bit cautious trying something upper echelon in regards to price.

With that said, the juice I liked, I absolutely loved. They're well made, they came pre-steeped, and they're packed full of flavor. It is also a great comfort knowing such stringent testing went into each and every bottle.  The bottles are quality product, featuring child secure caps that give ME trouble. This is beyond commendable to me, because as a father I appreciate the extra layer of security. They're all mixed 70/30 PG/VG, a very comfortable flavor to vapor ratio. A few bottles also have the "keep away from pets and children" warning, something I feel every bottle, that every vendor sales, should brandish. With this said, lets get on to the review.

70/30 PG/VG
20MG

Website description: Customers say this is a closet to a Marlboro Medium.
Impression : First and foremost, I am not a fan of tobacco juice. In my experience, every juice touting itself as a tobacco offering has disappointed me. Unfortunately, this juice is no different. The aroma is very weak, an almost faint pipe tobacco smell. The initial vape was unpleasant all the way around. Anticipating a tobacco taste, I was let down. The flavoring is flat, and I have trouble putting my finger on just what I am tasting. I feel that this "special blend" is lacking in the special department. Setting aside a personal tobacco bias, I was left dumbfounded to what exactly I was tasting. It's a bit of a dry vape, with in my best opinion is a faint pipe tobacco taste. 1/5, unfortunately.

 Hell Frozen Over
70/30
16mg

Website description: Cinnamon and ice, very nice!
Impression : Dear LORD I was born on a mountainside! This juice packs a punch like no other. I was never a menthol smoker, so I wasn't expecting this to satisfy the palate. Boy was I taken for a wild ride. The aroma is incredibly complex, offering a cinnamon and minty scent that delights the nasal passage. After a deep whiff, I knew this juice was a force to be reckoned with. The inhale is a complex medley of cinnamon, retaining it's sweet and spicy nature without overpowering your taste buds. The exhale is a delightfully refreshing shot of menthol, a solid compliment to the sweet and spicy cinnamon. The mix is exceptionally well done; as the layer of cinnamon and menthol is nearly perfected. I must say, if you can brew a gallon of this, I will literally throw my money at you. 5/5!

Hummingbird
70/30
16mg

Website description: Fruity watermelon flavor.
Impression : I truly expected to like this flavor. The clever name and smell had me quite excited. I am a huge fan of berry/fruit juice, so I anticipated being right at home. The aroma was a bit on the cough syrupey side, yet I did not let that deter me. Unfortunately, the juice tasted just as it smelt. The inhale was reminiscent of a cherry cough drop, and the exhale consisted of a very subtle watermelon undertone. I feel that this juice has potential if they can manage to experiment with different berry/watermelon flavorings. With that said, a family member really enjoyed the juice, so your mileage may vary. 2.5/5

 Very Merry Berry
70/30
16mg

Website description: A mixture of all berries!
Impression : Yes. Yes. YES! This, alongside hell frozen over, absolutely justifies that 16.95 price point. When thevaporbar perfects a juice, it is second to none. I have looked high and low for a juice of this caliber. The smell is a lavish, delightfully fruity scent that can entice with ease. The inhale is so wondrously captivating and sweet, followed by an exhale that exudes a multitude of berry flavors. It seems as if every vape is a surprise! I get strawberry, blueberry, grape, wildberry and a very slight hint of mango. I can't believe that a juice containing so many layers manages to shine through in every regard. If you notice the picture, I have managed to vape nearly half the bottle! Whether it is out of a tank, a dripper, or a carto, this juice is absolutely wonderful. 5/5! ADV!

Murdock's Menthol Blast
Website description: A true menthol blast.
Impression : As I previously stated, I was never a menthol smoker. With that in mind, it is ironic how a menthol juice can make me wish that I was. It is part of the tobacco section on their website; yet I did not detect even the faintest tobacco. The smell is very similar to a pack of winterfresh gum, quite pleasant. The inhale is hard to explain, it is very cool, minty, but not overpowering in the slightest. It isn't until the exhale that you're rocked with an icy blast of menthol. This particular juice is everything it is made out to be, a refreshingly cool, minty menthol. It is also great to have this on hand if you're suffering vapors tongue, as it is incredibly bold, able to "reset" the tastebuds with ease. 4/5!

Overall, my experience with TheVaporBar was a pleasant endeavor. After trying Very Merry Berry and Hell Froze Over, I feel that maybe they would see more success if they eliminated some flavors to focus on the more stellar offerings. I will definitely revisit Very Merry Berry and Hell Froze Over, and truly hope to continue business with TheVaporBar.

PO3 Side filling Cartomizer Tank

Today,  I will be reviewing a side filling pyrex cartotank (dubbed the PO3) I received from thevaporbar, courtesy of Schell.  I will also review an assortment of juices, however that will be separate. Schell was an absolute pleasure to deal with, a personable woman who has a deep understanding and appreciation for the industry. I must say, it is great dealing with somebody who resonates with passion for her craft. Take a look at their storefront for a wide selection of tanks,  juice and accessories.

This tank is nothing short of a dream. The owner assured me that they are made by hand, which is a tremendous testament to its quality and workmanship.  It is a unique design, lending it’s likeliness to Texas Tuff Tanks, as well as IBTanked offerings. The cartotank is a simple concept. You take a typical cartomizer (xl, or L, slotted or punched) and fill it with liquid of your choosing. You then thread the cartomizer through the aluminum caps that hold the glass in place, fill up through a thumb screw located on the side of the pyrex, and enjoy!I will attach an instructional video that thevaporbar provides, as it is of  considerable detail and a foolproof walkthrough.

They’re offered in a variety of styles and color. You can purchase the economy tank, made of citrus and cinnamon resistant material at 10.99, complete with the sidescrew . They also offer premium PO3 tanks, up to the Pyrex Side filling PO3 tank, which is sold at 44.00. They also offer the pyrex tank without a screw.

With all that in mind, here is what I like!

  • Build Quality

This thing is an absolute monster! Right off the bat, I was taken aback by the quality of the pyrex. If I have ever seen such a solid, well rounded hefty chunk of glass, it would be today. By nature, it isn't overbearing, however it is thicker than your standard glass tank. I respect the bulk as it offers a certain piece of mind. I treat my pyrex tanks like…well, glass, but with the PO3 tank, it sports a rugged and tough by design construction. Not to mention it holds a generous 5ml of juice! I sincerely believe it could withstand a drop or two, which can’t be said for a few other tanks on the market.

The aluminum caps that seal the pyrex in place are of equal craftsmanship; boasting strong, reliable seals. I was skeptical how it would come together without o-rings, but the seals fit like a glove, with no giveaway or wobble. I can confirm with absolute certainty that it is leak proof, which is a dream in it of itself. Now, what I did notice is that the aluminum cap that houses the end of the carto, or your  510 connection, is not 22mm in diameter. I believe it’s a hair under 23mm, which can be a potential setback to those who prefer a flush look when paired with a mechanical mod. I don’t mind, but this can be a deal breaker for some.

The side screw feature is also done exceptionally well. The hole in the pyrex was machined very well, displaying no visible cracking, chipping, or uneven ridges. The screw itself is also a pleasure to use; it fits securely and screws in with little force required. A warm welcome, considering the force required in other tanks featuring the same fill up method. To fill is a breeze, simply tilt the tank on it’s side, (preferably) insert your needle cap and fill!

When you’re offered a hand crafted tank, the expectations are high. Not a lot of companies manufacture their own product, as it is an endeavor that could prove less than fruitful. I can honestly say my expectations were surpassed in every way imaginable. The tank retains its soul, its function, and it is definitely built to last.

  • Ease of use

As the sum of it’s part become the whole, it is a relatively painless venture. Simply insert your cartomizer into the bottom aluminum cap, prime with juice, and attach the top aluminum cap. Add a drip tip of your choice, and you’re good to go. For those who have no experience filling a carto, much less working with one, this won’t be a crash course. I will however attach a link, in which Schell provides a very in depth walkthrough.
Personally, I am not a fan of cartomizers, however this particular setup gave me little to no trouble.

  • Appearance

Assembled, I have to say, it is a very attractive tank. It is slightly larger than an aerotank, shorter than an aspire nautilus, yet nearly just as wide. As previously stated, it doesn’t fit the 22mm diameter a plethora of mechanical devices command, so it will not sit flush. However, it only sticks out a hair, and I find it quite unique atop a mod. When paired with a beauty ring, you can achieve a sleek, personable look. I really, really like the width to this tank, it is a chunky offering, yet it doesn't look obtrusive. Another plus is how well it fits in my pocket!

It's an eye catcher, and that is no understatement. When paired with your drip tip of choice, you'd be hard pressed finding a tank that can compete with the PO3 and it's stylistic offerings. The last thing I'd like to note is that it has no logo, no branding, of ANY KIND. I absolutely love this. It lets me feel like what I am using is truly one of a kind, without letting the entire world know

"Hey man, check me out. One of a kind over here..."

  • The Vape

This tank vapes very, very well! Provided you have taken the proper steps in priming your carto, it absolutely chucks the vapor and provides a very satisfying flavor. I have it atop an MVP currently set to 4.1 watts and I have to say, it is almost a mini fog machine! Those expecting to truly taste their juice will be very well welcomed by the PO3. As a person so used to the flavor and production of their own coils and tank setup, it's a nice change to not have to adjust anything, or to yearn for just a bit more.

Now here is what I do not like

  • Packaging

The PO3 tank arrived in a tiny cardboard box. To be perfectly honest, I was expecting something a bit more in line with the quality of the product itself. This doesn't mean I was expecting a grand box with a lock and key, however I felt that the tiny box left a little to be desired. For a hand built tank of such quality, it commands a certain level of pride. I know that the team is proud of this item; I just wish that it was packaged in a box that reflected this. A minor gripe, yet worth noting.

  • Functionality

I can’t directly link this to the tank itself, but I believe I should share my insight. Despite the fact I got it working with little trouble, this is rarely, if ever, the case. Cartomizers are a pain, something the majority of the community can attest to. When they work, they work. When they don’t…they can be a bit of a nightmare. If it isn't properly primed and saturated, a fire can lead to a permanently burnt wick. Not to mention cartomizers simply do not offer the lifespan that a standard coil does, as dry burning isn't exactly an option. They can leak, and when they do, it’s a terrible mess. When they flood, it’s similar to a ship taking water. Obviously your mileage eill vary depending on what type of cartomizer you use, however I can only imagine what they could accomplish if they retained the build quality but offered it in a  bottom/top coil configuration.

Overall, it is a genuinely well made tank that lived up to every expectation I had. If you’re a fan of cartomizers, I wouldn’t hesitate snatching this up in a heartbeat. If you are a first time user, I would recommend acclimating yourself to a simpler offering before moving onto this tank. With a wide variety of options and color, as well as an overall solid performance, it is with a great pride I give this tank the vapocalyptic  STAMP of approval.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to fill out the box to your right and get in touch. Stay tuned for my review on thevaporbar's own line of juice! Vape strong, live long everybody.

Aspire Nautilus

Today, I will be covering the Aspire Nautilus. As a lot of you have come to know, it has quite a following in the community. It is often regarded as one of, if not, the highest quality clearomizer/glassomizer on the market. In my review, I'll give you the run down, as well as my personal gripes with the tank. Is it worth the price tag it commands? Read on.

First, some basic specs

Adjustable airflow
Beauty ring
5ml capacity
Pyrex tank
Stainless steel construction
Removable 510 drip tip
Bottom dual coil design (BDC)
1.6 coil (pre-installed) with spare 1.8 coil

Here is what I do like about the tank.

  • Large capacity
This tank isn't taking any prisoners on this one, instead, opting to go all out. With a full 5ml capacity, the majority of vapers are likely to get through the day, if not multiple, on one tank of juice. I, however, appreciate variety, and often find it hard to commit to an entire 5ml of juice. This is why I usually bring quite a few tanks, and PV's, with me. Those who don't have this problem will embrace the capacity, as the time in between fill ups is significantly increased.

  • Adjustable airflow
I am a big fan of adjustable airflow, this is no secret. Once you're accustomed to a tank that lets you alter the degree of air passing over the coil; it is hard to go back to a tank that does not afford the luxury. The aspire offers four different sized holes, going from an extremely tight draw, to a draw that is beyond airy. In comparison to it's direct competitor, the aerotank (which I am a fan of) it absolutely sets the standard in airflow control. The smallest hole compared to the largest hole is a night and day difference. I also admire the design. If you have used the aerotank, you're familiar with the ascending/descending air flow mechanism. With the nautilus, you simply turn a steel ring in either direction. You don't have to worry about cross threading, or a stuck ring. I appreciate the peace of mind this type of construction affords.

  • Vapor production
Outside of a rebuildable tank, it is going to be a tough challenging the nautiluses vapor production. On the airiest setting, I was fogging my work area. Nothing is more satisfying than watching a dense, creamy cloud of smoke pour from your nose and mouth. Even on the tightest setting, the nautilus still manages to blow smoke like a train.

Now let's get on to what I do not like about the tank...

  • Overall design
I have quite a few gripes with this tank, and unfortunately, I don't know if what I like about it is enough to save it from the issues I do have. The first issue I have is the threaded, upper pyrex. Instead of seating with an o-ring, which is replaceable, the glass is threaded and the mouthpiece screws on. While it isn't often you will be removing the mouth piece, threaded pyrex is delicate.  The nautilus especially so, as the pyrex feels thin and extremely prone to breaking. One misthread, just the tiniest over excretion, and you are left with a cracked tank.

The rubber seal within the tank. I cannot stand this thing for quite a few reasons. The first being, I am a big fan of cinnamon juices. I love Horchata and Fire Ball in particular, both known to shred plastic tanks. Cinnamon doesn't exactly react well with rubber, either. A quick youtube search will bring up a multitude of videos showing e-juice containing a high amount of cinnamon eating through the rubber seal. Without the rubber seal, you will need an entirely new base. Pyrex affords the user the luxury of using any juice. This handicap is inexcusable, and I don't see why they deviated from a standard o-ring construction.

Obnoxious logo. If you're anything at all like me, you like subtly. You prefer things to match, to compliment one another. For instance, a nice, compact RDA sitting flush atop a mech mod of similar design. It's beautiful, isn't? Well it's hard to retain the subtly with a tank that has ASPIRE NAUTILUS in gigantic lettering on one side of the pyrex. I'm all for advertising, as well as brand recognition, but I feel that this could have been done in better taste. Perhaps a smaller design, perhaps a different location, but it just screams "look at me. LOOK AT ME!"

The last design gripe I have is the way that the coil sits in the seat. I'm not sure if it is within the seat, or within the chimney, but more often than not, during a coil switch I have had multiple coils dislodge in the chimney. I keep everything finger tight, and I still have ran into the issue. I believe it because the pressure required to release the top part of the tank from the rubber seal. This creates a vacuum that can dislodge the coil within the chimney. The first nautilus I had, a coil was so stuck in the chimney I actually cracked the glass trying to dislodge it. Mind you, this was after a small spat with a pair of pliers.

  • Price
The aspire is an expensive beast, and unjustifiably so. Outside of the airflow control, it does little to set it aside from tanks in it's price range. Not only are the coils a pain to rebuild due to the filler material surrounding the coil itself, the coils are expensive. Most vendors sell them at 17.99, however you can catch them between 9.99-11.95. The replacement glass can run you upwards of 10.99 as well. When you compare it to the Kayfun by EHPRO, (often found between 36.99-39.99) I simply can not justify the usual 34.99 price tag.

  • Flavor

This, sadly, was the biggest disappointment. Initially, I expected flavors that would amount to a rebuildable tank, or at the very least come close. Sadly, it was not the case. The amount of vapor this tank can produce is unfortunately quite dull and tasteless. I attribute this to the poor design of the coils. Outside of the box, flavor is acceptable, but the coils cannot keep up with the pace. They often become weak, and give off a slight burnt taste with every hit. Due to the nature of the coil design, it is extremely difficult to dry burn the coil without permanently burning the cotton filler material. I will not go into rewicking and recoiling, because it is an extreme pain in the rear. A small space to work with, as well as filler material to adhere to, or do without, leads to a frustrating long, painful experience.

Due to the frustrating design, outlandish logo, user rebuildability and coil replacements, I unfortunately cannot in good conscience recommend this tank. While it does produce a fair amount of vapor, and holds a respectable amount of juice, it's price point does not justify the hassles I have suffered.

MtBakerVapor Juice Review # 2

Today, I'll be covering some more juice courtesy of MtBakerVapor. As always, you can bet on quality service, competitive pricing, and great customer service

The flavors I'll be going over today are as follows

Pink Lemonade
50 PG 50 VG
12MG
0 Flavor Shots

Initial impression : Straight out of the bottle, you get the unmistakable scent of Pink Lemonade. It simply resonates throughout the surrounding area, filling the air with the familiar scent. The liquid is very clear, and appears to remain that way throughout the steeping process. The initial inhale is delightfully sweet and tangy. On the exhale, you get the strong, flavorful lemonade note. This definitely has potential to be an all day vape, with the added bonus of being great out of the mail. 4/5

Grape
50 PG 50 VG
12 MG
2 Flavor Shots

Initial impression : I have tried a multitude of grape flavors, and unfortunately, this falls prey to the same issue I've had with others. Grape is difficult to perfect, and I've noticed that every grape flavor I have produced a very flat, dull taste. On the exhale, you'll notice a tinge of grape, but other than that I am a bit disappointed. With the additional flavor shots; I'm hoping it'll grow richer in time. As of now, I give it a 2.5/5, but I will come back to it in a few weeks.

Strawberry
100 VG
12  MG
1 Flavor shots

Initial impression : This flavor has a flavorful scent, I can definitely tell it'll be true to form, however the vape is addled by a perfume like taste. It requires time to steep, will comeback to this in a few weeks.

Freckled Lemonade
50 VG 50 PG
12 MG
No Flavor Shot

Initial impression : This has been my ADV for a few months now. Every bottle has been good to go, straight out of the mail. The aroma is that of a sweet strawberry nectar with delicate notes of lemonade. The inhale is delightfully tangy and sweet, the exhale is of rich, rich lemonade. It is wonderfully sweet and tangy, but not overbearing. If you've ever had a nice glass of iced strawberry lemonade, you will likely fall in love with this flavor. 5/5

Salascious Strawberry
65 VG 35 PG
12 MG
2 Flavor Shots

Initial impression : Despite the amber tint, it is not ready to vape in any shape, way or form. It must steep for about three weeks or so, so I will update when I have tried it!

Butterscotch
20 PG 80 VG
12 MG
0 Flavor Shots

Initial impression : If I could get on my roof at shout til my lungs burst, I would spread the joy that is this juice. Move over, freckled lemonade, you have been dethroned. Out of the mail, it smells identical to a butterscotch candy. The familiar cream is on point. The inhale is wonderfully sweet and creamy, the exhale containing notes of caramel and butter cream. I cannot put into words how spellbinding this juice is. It tastes identical to the candy, and is absolute wonder to vape. The smoke is dense, the flavor is delightfully creamy and sweet. It is perfect. If I could buy this by the gallon, it would be a no brainer. 6/5

Stay posted, I'll have more juice reviews to come!

Innokin VTR

Today, I received my Innokin Itaste VTR from the nice guys at worldofvape. You simply can't argue with free shipping and always low pricing, and as a new customer, I have nothing but positive things to say about the company. I will be ordering from them in the future.

Before I begin the interview, I'd like to outline some manufacturer specs, to give you a full idea of what you're working with alongside my initial impression.

Features in Brief:
Variable Voltage: 3.0 – 6.0 volts
Variable Wattage: 3.0 – 15.0 W
Short Circuit Protection;
RMS (root mean square);
Reverse Battery Protection Circuit;
Resistive Load Detection (Ohms meter);
ON/OFF battery switch;
LED Battery Power Display;
Low Voltage Warning;
Overtime Vaping Warning (10 second switch cutoff);
Battery safety protection (Vent holes);
High compatibility 510/eGo connector:  Built-in 3 digit display (Ohms meter, Volts /Watts, Atomizer voltage output)
Replaceable Battery: iTaste VTR supports 18650 batteries (unprotected)

As far as my initial impression goes, I am quite impressed with the unit all around! Here's what I do like

  •  Build quality
The device, to be blunt, is an absolute tank. It is constructed out of stainless steel and has got to be the heaviest mod that has graced my hands. It weighs in at nearly 14 oz, and it is considerably noticeable in comparison to your standard mechanical, or the MVP in particular. It feels solid, it feels durable, it feels that it commands a longevity that a lot of other PV's in it's price range do not offer. Those with smaller hands may be turned off, as it is slightly bulkier than the MVP. I am a definite fan of the heft, but I can understand and do believe a lot will be rather encumbered carrying it around all day.

The button placement is extremely comfortable. Instead of being in the middle of the device, it sits on the side. I find that in my hand, it is easier to fire the device with my ring finger than my thumb, as I would fire other boxed mods.

It can read the resistance of coils, as well as display an indicator in relation to the level of your battery. Quite useful, if not entirely accurately (I've noticed the ohms are usually off by .1-.2)

However, they're a few things about it I do NOT like, which I will cover later.

  • Performance
Compared to devices in it's price range, as well as the MVP, the VTR exceeded my initial expectations. With the ability to increase wattage to 15, and voltage to 6, those coming from VV/VW devices with lower values will be pleasantly surprised. Provided you have the right atomizer setup, you will notice thicker smoke, as well as a slight increase in flavor. It does not overheat, and I have had only 1 dry hit, but that was due to a higher than required wattage

  • Packaging
I am a huge fan of cases. In fact, I will often purchase something simply because I like the box that it comes in. I absolutely admire companies that provide quality hard storage cases alongside their product. In my opinion, it makes me truly feel that I bought something of quality. Something that I want to protect, something that I want to store with pride. The box has a velvet lining where you will find your VTR, extension tube, manual and tank. It locks with a clasp. It is constructed of metal, and it is very, very attractive.

Nice, isn't it?

  • Looks
I was surprised when I opened it, as I expected it to be massive compared to my MVP 2.0. To my surprise, it is a bit more compact in size, but it does retain extra depth. The stainless steel it is constructed out of shines brightly. The overall sleek, compact, and elegant design should catch quite a few eyes.

  • Removable battery

What a welcome addition. As an MVP owner, I know that one day, my MVP will cease to be. This is because the battery is not user replaceable. The MVP is utterly disposable. The VTR, however, altered that landscape, and for that I am ecstatic. So long as caution is exercised, (such as avoiding dropping, or abusing your VTR) and you have an 18650 battery, you will have peace of mind knowing your mod will not gradually diminish in quality, only to one day fail to charge, or boot up.
Now, that is what I like about the VTR. What I unfortunately do not like...

  • Rotational wheel

Innokin has since ditched the rotational wheel in favor of a stationary wheel. However, a lot of vendors currently keep the rotational wheel in stock. Therefore it is tantamount that you contact your supplier and verify whether it is a generation 1, or generation 2, model.

Straight out of the box, the rotational wheel stuck. It needed a liberal amount of rubbing alcohol to rotate smoothly. However, I recognize the severe construction flaw. It seems that it is prone to sticking and refusing to turn. I can expect with one too many alterations, it will break, or worse yet, stick. A terrible design, the stationary wheel should have been the initial standard. As of now, it isn't giving me too much trouble, but I can't expect that it will improve in the future.
  • Protective skeleton/metal ring
The VTR sports a unique design. As you will no doubt notice in the provided pictures, instead of simply screwing in your tank of choice, you must thread it through a protective metal ring. The tank will than screw and tighten into the 510 connection. The included Iclear 30S fits like a glove. I've found that most variations of the protank (such as 2, pt3 mini, and aerotank) also it as well. When paired with a tank that meets the diameter of the ring, it boasts an intricate and innovative design. However, if your tank will not thread through, you must use the included 510 extension tube. It is long, it is bulky, and it adds an unnecessary amount of real estate. This is a severe disappointment, because I appreciate variety, and I value tanks such as the Kayfun and the Nautilus. Due to the need of the 510 connector, when I want to use my Nautilus or Kayfun, I am left with a ridiculously large looking, obtrusive tube with an equally large tank attached to it.

Isn't that wild...?

Overall, it is a well made box mod, that exceeds performance expectations. The fact that is it plagued by ridiculous design is disappointing, however if you can commit to using tanks that fit, or deal with the extended length of the extension tube, you will find yourself right at home. I would recommend this product to those who own the MVP and to those who do not, if only because of the user replaceable battery. For that, alongside the great functionality and wonderful packaging, I give the Innokin Itaste VTR the Vapocalyptic STAMP of approval.
